Empowering children with learning opportunities and adults with knowledge to claim their rights.

Ten-year-old Rina from rural Puri had almost dropped out of school to help her family on the farm. Today, she proudly reads aloud in her class at the Abhinaba Sikhya Kendra, a learning centre where children from marginalized families receive remedial lessons, life skills training, and a nurturing environment.

Across Puri and Bolangir, these centres are giving hope to dozens of first-generation learners. Parents report improved confidence and academic performance, and children now dream of becoming teachers, nurses, and even engineers. Meanwhile, awareness sessions for adults on forest rights, pensions, and women-focused schemes have empowered villagers to claim benefits they once thought inaccessible. “We no longer feel ignored,” shared a Bolangir farmer after securing his land rights. These programs prove that education is not just about books—it’s about dignity and opportunity.
